New Delhi, June 1 (ANI): The Communist Party on Saturday discussed the political developments that are taking place in the country and also decided on the future course of action ahead of the elections scheduled to take place in 2014.
"The first main agenda is to discuss all the political developments since the last meeting of the national executive then we will discuss the future campaigns of the party. We will discuss the joint activities of Left Parties then there will be discussions on the preparations for the forthcoming elections," said CPI leader D. Raja.
Meanwhile, CPI General Secretary Sudhakar Reddy said this is a routine national executive committee meeting, which is organised once in two months.
"Of course, we have important items of agenda, number one is about the latest development because of the Supreme Court comments for the autonomy of CBI. So on that issue, we will discuss about the related issues of Colgate, ministers resignations and all that," he said.
The Supreme Court had earlier in May questioned the credibility of CBI probe into the coal scam and had asked for a thorough and qualitative investigation. (ANI)
