London, May 26 (ANI): Frank Lampard has said that his wedding to Christine Bleakley is still on, but it's not going to be this summer.
The Chelsea ace has slammed reports that uncertainty over his future at the club had led to the couple postponing their big match.
The footie star, who has now signed a one-year-contract at Stamford Bridge, said that they never had a wedding planned this summer, the Mirror reported.
He said that they were looking at different times when they could do it and there's been loads of gossip.
"I didn't want it to be at a time when things might be happening in my career. It would have taken the edge off it," he said.
He said that they both want a private wedding when they name the day, and "not a big fancy one." (ANI)
