Washington, May 17(ANI): Nicki Minaj has opened up about her turbulent home life and struggle to fit in at school as a kid.
Minaj told the June/July issue of Teen Vogue magazine that every time her parents fought, her mother used to move them and then she had to go to a new school, which meant she had to face the task of making new friends, Contactmusic reported.
The 30- year- old singer further explained that she dreaded it and feared if people would like her or not.
She said that bullying came her way to the extent that her older brother sometimes had to get involved.
The 'Starship' singer said that she encountered jealous girls a lot.
She also confessed that sometimes there used to be a fight and sometimes not.
Minaj added that she let people know that she wasn't going to be pushed around and never bowed down. (ANI)
