London, May 16 (ANI): The Brislington Ladies Football Club has remained invincible in 180 games played over 10 years.
The Bristol girls had started playing when they were under 10 and have mostly reached 18 now as they stand to be the proud winners of one of the Somerset County Women's League this year with 89 goals under their belt, 13 of them in one game, the Sun reports.
According to the report, the ladies team has won seven goals in FA Cup for their sixth double in a row.
Club secretary Sharon Whelan said the girls have always formed a good team, enjoying football and growing up together, adding that the girls do not like to boast about their wins, even though they have made life difficult for the opposition several times.
The report said that Emily Plummer remains the top scorer with 51 goals to her credit this year and seven girls in the club have already played for England sides.
While some girls from the team will play in a tougher South West East Division, Whelan said that the club has already beaten teams from higher divisions and have reached the FA Cup first round, confirming that the winning streak of the team will continue. (ANI)
