"Five persons were arrested. We will take appropriate legal action against them. We have recovered all the mobile phones, as per our information, from them. As per the investigation so far, they are supporters of PLFI," Superintendent of Police (SP), Gumla, Rakesh Bansal told media on Saturday.
Maoists have significantly increased their presence in tribal and rural regions in Chhattisgarh, Bihar, Jharkhand, West Bengal and Odisha as well as certain parts of Maharashtra and Andhra Pradesh.
