New York, May 12 (ANI): American football player Tim Tebow has addressed the public for the first time in a motivational speech since his termination from the New York Jets.
The speech did not include any proclamation on Tebow's National Football League's (NFL) future as he shared his positive message on impacting lives, the New York Daily News reports.
According to the report, the quarterback remained mum about his football career but said that he is aware of who controls his future though uncertain as to what his future holds.
The speech ended with a standing ovation even though the footballer spoke about his attempt at reading scriptures to solve the 'trials and tribulations' in his life, indicating Tebow's popularity among the masses as he stands to be in the Forbes' 2013 list of America's most influential athletes.
Senior vice president of Sports for Nielsen Stephen Master recognized the incredible popularity of the former Jets quarterback, despite being homeless and jobless. (ANI)
