New Delhi, May 9 (ANI): The makers of Yash Raj's upcoming crime thriller 'Aurangzeb' adopted a unique method of promotion by holding a press meet at an under construction site in Mumbai.

Present at the meet were lead actors Arjun Kapoor, Prithviraj Sukumaran, Rishi Kapoor and Jackie Shroff along with director Atul Sabharwal.

Speaking at the occasion, Arjun, who will be seen in a double role in the movie, justified the reason behind title of the movie.

"As every body knows that Aurangzeb was a Mughal emperor and he was a torrent to an extent that he went on to destroy his own family to obtain power and there in lies the answer of why the title is Aurangzeb," he said.

"It's because human being can push itself to any extent to obtain power and to be at the top. What kind of limits would you push? Would you destroy your own family, your own people? How far would you go for power? That's when it comes into all our characters," the actor said.

Interacting with media persons, veteran actor Rishi said the film is purely a crime thriller and there are no useless things in the film.

"According to me this is actually a crime drama, a human crime drama which we haven't seen on screen from quiet long. Also I would like to tell you all that we haven't used any songs in the film uselessly," he said.

"So the director was very clear that he don't want to use any useless thing, which can disturb the narrative of the film. So we have tried to make this film based on the same foundations with which we chose to make it and it will be presented to you all in the same manner," the actor added.

The film, which features Shroff as a builder and Rishi as a cop trying to nab him for being involved in illegal activities, will hit the theaters on May 17. (ANI)
