London, Apr.29 (ANI): Former WBA heavyweight champion David Haye has announced his return with his next fight on June 29 with Manuel Charr at the Manchester Arena.
The fight is also set to bring a long-term arrangement with promoter Eddie Hearn, the Sun reports.
According to the report, the Briton star hopes that if he muscles his way through the fight with Charr, he will set up the course to the world title glory.
Hearn has confirmed the reports on twitter saying that he is happy to bring in Haye, Adam Booth and Hayemaker.
According to the report, Haye has long expressed a desire to fight with one of the Klitschko brothers after losing a match with Wladimir Klitschko in July 2011 and has not fought since beating Dereck Chisora in the fifth round last July at Upton Park.
The report further said that Haye has been a big name in British boxing and plans to put up a mandatory challenge against Wladimir and Vitali Klitschko, and his course towards reclaiming the heavyweight championship will begin with the fight against Charr, who has lost just once in 24 fights.
British boxing will witness huge changes with the official announcement about the tie-up at a press conference in Manchester, the report added. (ANI)
