Washington, April 29 (ANI): Miley Cyrus has opened up about why getting engaged to Liam Hemsworth nearly one year ago felt like a natural progression in their relationship.

The 20-year-old revealed in the June issue of Elle UK that it just seems right to be wearing her engagement ring and to be committed, but they keep their relationship low-key and don't talk about it any more, Us magazine reported.

Cyrus, who has a house and dogs together with Hemsworth, said that she is making a conscious effort to stay out of the spotlight as much as possible.

"We were too nice to the world and gave them too much insight-into my life and my puppies and my house-and I just don't feel they get that privilege any more," she said.

The former 'Hannah Montana' star said that she has now stopped sharing her personal stuff on her Twitter page.

Talking about her career the 'Can't Be Tamed' singer said that a star is someone who doesn't have to take her clothes off to be sexy because you naturally have star power.

She said that sex does sell, but you have to find a way that's not just showing your tits.

Cyrus added that she doesn't want to be a glorified model, who just walks on stage and it's all about their clothes or lack of clothes. (ANI)
