Attari (Punjab), April 28 (ANI): Family members of comatose Indian death row prisoner Sarabjit Singh, who is in coma after a brutal assault on him by fellow inmates in a Lahore jail, reached Pakistan on Sunday in the evening and met him in Jinnah hospital in Lahore.
Earlier, family members of comatose Indian death row prisoner Sarabjit Singh offered prayers at the Golden Temple here on Sunday, before departing for Lahore via the Attari-Wagah border check post.
Currently, Sarabjit is in deep coma and on ventilator support in Lahore's government-run Jinnah Hospital after being attacked violently by six Pakistani inmates inside the city's Kot Lakhpat Jail.
Sarabjit Singh's sister Dalbir Kaur, wife Sukhpreet Kaur and daughters Swapandeep Kaur and Poonam Kaur reportedly prayed for his speedy recovery and release from jail. (ANI)
