Kathmandu, April 27 (ANI): Former Prime Minister of Nepal Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda', currently Chairman of the Unified Communist Party of Nepal (Maoist), is paying a four-day visit to India from today.
He is likely to meet senior government officials in Delhi and others from across the political spectrum.
Dahal is also likely to visit some Indian projects in areas of power, Information Technology and tourism to explore possibilities of expanding India-Nepal trade and economic cooperation, and bilateral development partnership.
He is scheduled to speak on India-Nepal relations at the Indian Council of World Affairs in New Delhi on Monday. Dahal has stated that like in China, his focus during the India visit would be on trade and economic progress.
The Nepalese Maoist leader had proposed trilateral cooperation involving India, China and Nepal to develop his country. (ANI)
