London, April 26 (ANI): British people suffer a tedious 10 days a year waiting in queues, a new research has revealed.
The study has found that activities including lining up to pay in shops or waiting to catch a bus or train, all takes nearly 80 hours a year, which is equivalent to 10 eight-hour working days.
Kenny Bain, of technology firm KANA, which ran the survey, told the Daily Star that the over 65s are most likely to lose their temper in a phone queue, while younger people are more patient.
It was found that the biggest time consumer is queuing in shops is more than 13 hours a year.
Public transport queues use up another 10 hours, which is a little more than the time we waste on the phone.
The researchers concluded that valuing customer time should be top priority for businesses. (ANI)
