London, Apr 25 (ANI): The mentor of South African model Reeva Steenkamp, who was shot dead by her Paralympian boyfriend Oscar Pistorius, has claimed that the model barely knew Pistorius before her death
Jane Celliers, who had signed Steenkamp to her Ice Model Management agency, said that the model was gradually courted by Pistorius and had not spent more than a fortnight together in total, The Sun reports.
Celliers further said that a rift had already formed between the pair over Steenkamp's reluctance to join Pistorius in the celebrity fast-lane, adding that the model was being forced by the Blade Runner to join his fast life
Convinced that Pistorius is guilty of the murder, Celliers however, said that the South African justice system would mess up the case.
According to Celliers, Steenkamp was a happy person and had a pleasant relationship with everyone she knew, adding that she still expected the model to walk through her office doors any minute.
Celliers also said that Steenkamp's memory is still alive in her office, which is evident from the pictures of the model adorning her office walls, adding that seeing them helps in alleviating her pain. (ANI)
