Wellington, April 23 (ANI): Promotional models at this year's Shanghai motor show wore modest outfits after the Chinese government came down heavily on them for wearing skimpy clothes at recent motor shows in China.
The government issued a warning to the organizers of 2012's 'Chengdu motor show' after a number of nearly naked girls created chaos in the crowd, Stuff.co.nz reported.
That reprimand followed a similar cover-up order for the Beijing show earlier in the year.
But this year's Shanghai motor show was a more sedate affair.
While models still wore plunging necklines and short skirts, there were none of the sheer blouses and exposed skin of last year. (ANI)
