Johannesburg, Apr 18 (ANI): Paralympic star Oscar Pistorius, accused of murdering his girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp, has no plans to return to international athletics following a snub from the organisers of the London Anniversary Games, according to his agent.
The comments came after organisers of the three-day Anniversary Games at London's Olympic Park said the South African sprinter will not be welcome at the event.
Dismissing suggestions that Pistorius had planned to compete at the Games scheduled from July 26-28 but was not invited, his agent Peet Van Zyl said that the Blade Runner has no plans to compete internationally at this point, Sport24 reports.
Denying that there Pistorius had planned to participate in the London event, Van Zyl said that the Paralympian is not training officially, adding that Pistorius' focus remains preparing for and dealing with the legal process in South Africa.
Last month the double amputee successfully challenged his strict bail conditions, opening the door for him to travel abroad and fuelling speculation about a return to the track, the report added. (ANI)
