Washington, Apr. 17 (ANI): Basketball legend Magic Johnson's son Earvin III has spoken about his sexual inclination- and how it suddenly went public.
He told host Howard Bragman on the latest episode of the webcast 'Gwissues,' that for him it was really surprising, as he had not thought that it was going to become a big deal, since he was out to his family and pals for at least five years, People magazine reported.
He said that it was almost as if he came out of the closet again, exclaiming that reliving the experience had been both exciting and interesting.
Earvin III admitted that he was revelling in it and making it work to his advantage.
In terms of how the whole story came to be, Earvin said that he had been approached by TMZ while he was walking down the Sunset Strip in Los Angeles with his pal, who was not his boyfriend, and was asked several questions about himself.
His mother, Cookie, told him later that she had been informed that TMZ planned to run the story. Afterward, he said that he appreciated the many positive comments that were posted on the website.
The New York University junior, who is studying event planning and design, as well as fashion and media, said that he had always dreamt and planned of doing his own thing."
He added that though he was looking forward to creating his own image it came a little sooner than he thought it would, but this was something he always knew he would be going through. (ANI)
