London, Apr. 11 (ANI): Adele's 30-million-pound fortune has helped her land the title of the richest young musician in Britain.
This is the second year running that the singer, who will turn 25 next month, has topped the Sunday Times Rich List for young musicians, the Daily Express reported.
Runner-up on the rich list is Cheryl Cole, 29, whose wealth is estimated at 14 million pounds, while Leona Lewis and Katie Melua, both 28, are worth 12 million pounds each.
Nipping at the heels of female musicians is English-Irish pop band One Direction, which has amassed 25 million pounds.
New entries to the list of music millionaires aged 30 and under include Emeli Sande, 26, and Ed Sheeran, 22, each worth 5 million pounds.
Sir Paul McCartney, who shares a 680-million-pound fortune with his heiress wife Nancy Shevell, who is believed to be worth 150 million pounds, topped the list of richest music millionaires.
Andrew Lloyd Webber is second in the music millionaires' chart with 620-million-pound fortune, followed by Irish rockers U2 at 520 million pounds.
A combined fortune of 200 million pounds put Victoria and David Beckham in the top five, while Sharon and Ozzy Osbourne and Chris Martin and Gwyneth Paltrow also featured in the list. (ANI)
