New Delhi, Apr 9 (ANI): Five Indian peace corps lost their lives while escorting a United Nations convoy in a particularly volatile part of South Sudan on Tuesday.

On hearing the happening, three U.N. helicopters were sent for casualty evacuation operations, bringing the injured to South Sudan's capital Juba, from where they were being taken to the U.N. mission hospital when reports last came in.

According to International news channels the bodies of the five martyrs will be sent to the country.
