London, Apr 7 (ANI): Real Madrid boss Jose Mourinho could shock the European football world by joining rich French club Paris Saint Germain instead of Chelsea after quitting Madrid this summer.
According to the Mirror, speculation is growing that the Special One is heading to Paris to replace former Chelsea boss Carlo Ancelotti, adding that if it comes out to be true, then Mourinho can keep alive his dream of managing United once Sir Alex Ferguson finally steps aside at Old Trafford.
The report also said that Mourinho is the top target for PSG's Qatari owners with his impressive record in Portugal, England, Italy and Spain as they want to take the French club to the next level and win the European Cup.
According to the report, Mourinho's probable move to PSG will come as a major disappointment to many Blues and Manchester City fans hoping the Portuguese's recent hints that he wants to return to the Premier League meant that he was heading back to either of the two clubs.
However, the report added that Mourinho knows that if he goes to City it will blow his chances of ever managing Manchester United, adding that joining again with Roman Abramovich at Chelsea may be a probable mishap.
The report also said that Paris will be an ideal destination for the Madrid coach especially as his daughter is due to study in London, which is just a short distance away from the French capital, later this year. (ANI)
