Speaking on the sidelines of an event held here over the weekend, Balan said: "We all have faith in justice and in the judiciary system. So, I don't think it is right for me to say anything on that. But, as someone who really considers him very special and dear, I just wish his jail term gets decreased, I know, there are many people involved in the case. All of us are reacting on a very personnel point of view."
The Supreme Court had on March 21 sentenced Dutt to five years term in jail for procuring and retaining guns from gangsters involved in the 1993 bombings in Mumbai.
At least 257 people were killed in 13 blasts at several Mumbai landmarks, including the Bombay Stock Exchange, a popular cinema and two crowded markets.
