London, Apr 3 (ANI): Alesha Dixon has said that she knows that racism still exists in the world of show business from first-hand experience.
The TV talent show judge and former Mis-Teeq star said that she was once told that a magazine wouldn't sell if a black woman was on the cover.
"Sadly, I've learnt that prejudice still exists in parts of the entertainment industry," the Sun quoted her as telling Cosmopolitan.
It made her angry, she said because it shouldn't be about the colour of the person's skin, but it should be about the person.
She said that it angers her that black women are still a minority on TV today. (ANI)
