London, April 3 (ANI): A Chinese student stunned her family and friends by holding her own funeral for "enjoyment" and to see what people really think of her.
Zeng Jia paid for a full service including flowers and photographers that was attended by mourners who walked past her while she was in a coffin, the Daily Express reported.
The 22-year-old also hired a team of cosmetic artists, who specialized in making the dead look more lifelike, to make her body look more convincing.
Jia spent an hour lying in the casket with a Hello Kitty doll on her chest before getting up to join her family and friends in her own wake.
She said that experiencing death had made her appreciate life more keenly. (ANI)
