London, Apr. 1 (ANI): Irish budget airline Ryanair has been taken to court by a consumer watchdogs in Spain, for publishing a "sexist" calendar, which shows female cabin staff in underwear and bikinis.
The watchdog said that the Irish airline's 2013 calendar was exploiting the female staff, the Mirror reported.
Three judges in Malaga will be considering the claim, which has been brought in a private -prosecution, on April 30.
Lawyer Antonio Castillo, who is representing the consumer group, will be asking the court to rule if the use of the image is illegal.
The calendar- sold on planes for 10 euros - is for charity, with all the money being raised from sales going to children suffering from cystic fibrosis. (ANI)
