Chennai, Mar 28 (ANI): Communist party of India (CPI) General Secretary, D Raja on Thursday expressed his disappointment over the Tamil Nadu Government's response on the anti-Sri-Lankan resolution, and urged the state government to take action in the wake of the Tamil Nadu State Assembly's resolution.
"The Central Government has not bothered to give consideration to this and Central Government has not discussed these resolutions, he said.
"Central Government has not brought these things to the notice of the parliament when parliament was in session, so this Union Government cannot be so careless and discriminatory in not giving due consideration to the resolutions passed by the State Assembly, to the letters written by Tamil Nadu Chief Minister, it is a deplorable attitude of the Central Government, it should be condemned in all possible terms," he added.
