Chandigarh, March 18 (IANS) Stalked by two youths, a Class 9 girl in Haryana has committed suicide, police said Monday. The two accused have been arrested.
Police officials in Hisar town, 260 km from here, said the victim consumed some poisonous substance to end her life after being stalked by the youth for over two months. They also used to pass lewd comments against her.
Both the arrested accused belong to a nearby village, police said.
Police officials said the victim's family earlier complained to the family of the youths but did not file a police complaint.
