Conrad Murray to plead 'the Fifth' at Katherine Jackson trial

Washington , Mon, 18 Mar 2013 ANI

Washington, March 18 (ANI): Conrad Murray, who has already been convicted and serving time for killing Michael Jackson, will plead his 5th Amendment right against self-incrimination at the singer's wrongful death lawsuit trial.

The shamed doctor has been called to take the stand at Michael's mother Katherine's civil case against AEG Live - which accuses the company of being responsible for negligently hiring Conrad to care for Michael, TMZ.com reported.

Sources told the publication that Murray's lawyer, Valerie Wass, has asked the doctor to not answer questions because his responses could affect his appeal. (ANI)
