New York Mar. 16 (ANI): Photographers, film-makers, models and actors, who are sneaking into Catacombs of Paris, are being busted on a daily basis for performing sleazy "art" sessions among its six million human skeletons, according to reports.
Bosses at Musee Carnavalet, which manages the historic underground caves, told the New York Daily News that they are fighting a losing battle against the amorous invaders.
According to them, every day they reject requests for filming of sleazy clips on the premises - leading many of the wannabe stars to disguise themselves, as tourists to get past the security, which has led to the creation of a crack "catacombs police team" that try to ward off the unwelcome visitors.
A tourist to the caves told Le Parisien that as soon as the coast gets clear the girls strip off and the crew starts filming without any fuss, and leave, unseen and unnoticed.
The Local reported that one artist to use the skeletons as a backdrop was U.S. photographer Miru Kim - whose 2008 "Naked City Spleen" project featured an image of her naked on a pile of bones.
A spokesman for the museum tried to play down the claims, saying that the kinky visitors managed to slip into the caves "from time to time."
Housing the remains of locals, the Catacombs became a tourist attraction after being opened to the public in the late 1700s. (ANI)
