Kullu (Himachal Pradesh), Feb 25 (IANS) Two tourists were drowned here Monday when a raft on which they were taking a joy ride overturned in the Beas river, police said.
Three couples were travelling on the raft when it met with an accident at Seobagh near here. Their guides managed to rescue four but two drowned, a police official told IANS.
Those killed were identified as Lalita Sharma of Aligarh in Uttar Pradesh and Suresh Kumar of Gaya in Bihar.
