London, Feb 14 (ANI): David Beckham is set to have his favourite pie and mash shipped out to Paris to avoid eating frogs' leg and garlic during his spell with Paris St Germain.
Beckham had the East End nosh flown out to him when he lived in Spain, playing for Real Madrid, and his friends reckon he will do the same when he starts playing in France, the Daily Star reports.
Pal and pie maker Tony Lane said there is no way will Beckham would survive on rich French food, adding an Englishman can't live on frogs' legs.
Lane said they have already been told to send their pies over to France and it's not unusual, adding they did the same when he was at Madrid and even deliver them when he stays at the Savoy in London.
Lane added if Beckham wants him to come and cook for him there in Paris then his door is open.
Beckham is a regular customer at Tony's pie and mash shop in Waltham Abbey, Essex, and he always orders double pie, double mash, parsley liquor and a side order of jellied eels.
In 2011, Beckham paid for a delivery of pie and mash for all the Tottenham Hotspurs players when he finished training with the White Hart Lane side, the paper reported. (ANI)
