Johannesburg, Feb 14 (ANI): Paralympic athlete Oscar Pistorius, who has double below-knee amputations, has allegedly shot his girlfriend to death in the early hours of Thursday morning after thinking she was an intruder, reports claim.
The police's Captain Sarah Mcira confirmed the woman had been shot in the head and arm, which resulted in her death, News24 reports.
The T44 world record holder for the 200 and 400 metres events and the joint T43 record holder for the 100 metres, Pistorius is apparently in police custody, the paper reported. (ANI)
