Kolkata, Feb 13 (IANS) A separatist leader from Manipur was arrested from the Indo-Nepal border in West Bengal's Jalpaiguri district by the Special Task Force of Kolkata Police, an officer said Wednesday.
Bunty Singh, of the United Peoples Party of Kangleipak, an insurgent outfit active in Manipur, was arrested from the Naxalbari area of Jalpaiguri district and presented before a court Wednesday.
Bunty Singh was involved in several cases of violence, police said.
