London, Feb. 12 (ANI): A blue-fronted Amazon is able to squawk in 3 languages: Arabic, Urdu and English.
The parrot shouts the greeting "assalamu alaikum" - that means peace be upon you - in Arabic to passers-by, and his English is accompanied by a distinctive Asian twang.
His owner Ehsaan Mahmood, 18, said that his dad Tariq used to keep parrots in Pakistan and when he moved to England he wanted to get some here as well, the Mirror reported.
He said that when the family got Rocket, he could only say "Hello" but now he's got quite a vocabulary together.
Blue-fronted Amazons are known to be natural mimics and chatterboxes.
Ehsaan from Oldham, Greater Manchester, said that Rocket can recite all their names and now the family is trying to teach it Urdu. (ANI)
