'In form' Starc to fly early to India to prepare for four-Test series

Sydney, Sat, 09 Feb 2013 ANI

Sydney, Feb 9 (ANI): In an alteration of Cricket Australia's (CA) travel plans, in form fast bowler Mitchell Starc would fly earlier than before to India on Saturday in order to get more time to acclimatize himself in the sub-continental conditions for their upcoming four-Test series.

Starc, who was rested from the fourth ODI against the West Indies in Sydney, would not be available for the final ODI to be held in Melbourne, News.com.au reports.

CA has also confirmed that Brad Haddin would replace Matt Wade as wicketkeeper for Sunday's final ODI.

Wade is part of the group, which also includes all-rounder Glenn Maxwell that is flying to India on Saturday. (ANI)
