New Delhi, Feb 7 (IANS) Bollywood actor Emraan Hashmi, who features in international filmmaker Danis Tanovic's next film, will mark his presence at the 63rd Berlin Film Festival, starting March 7, to promote the project.
Emraan will promote the movie along with some members of the crew, including the film's co-producers Guneet Monga and Prashita Chaudhary.
"Emraan, the crew and I would be going for the Berlin Film Festival," Monga told IANS.
Emraan has said it is a "huge honour" to work with Tanovic, whose 2001 Bosnian movie "No Man's Land" won him the Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film.
"It is not every day that an actor gets to work with a director who is no stranger to the Academy Awards... I hope to create some great cinema together that will entertain audiences both on the home turf and in the west," said Emraan.
Oscar-winning filmmaker Tanovic's new project is being co-produced by Chaudhary of Cinemorphic with Anurag Kashyap and Monga's Sikhya Entertainment in India and internationally with Cedomir Kolar and Marc Baschet.
Chaudhary too will head for the 11-day festival.
"I believe cinema to be a barrier-breaking medium. I'm fortunate to be working with some of the best in the industry and look forward to partnering with like-minded individuals who believe in the power of cinema," said Chaudhary.
