Sydney, Feb 6(ANI): Australian rugby player Arana Taumata created controversy he called reality TV show My Kitchen Rules contestants Jessie Khan and Biswa Kamilla curry munches in a racist tweet.
Penrith Panthers player Taumata made his thoughts about the pair clear on the social network, Twitter, Telegraph.com.au reports.
"Get them two curry munches off #MKR they are just pure annoying now. Making the programme shit. ???????? #MKR." Taumata tweeted on Wednesday morning.
Penrith Panthers were quick to act on the news their player had posted the tweet with Phil Gould to meet Taumata today to discuss the incident, the paper said.
Taumata also issued an apology on Twitter, as he tweeted: " Just wanna apologise for the remarks I said last night about the two indian ladies on. and#andMKR If I offended anyone I apologise. and#andMKR" (ANI)
