New Delhi, Jan 27 (IANS) As many as 120 exhibitors from across 30 countries will participate in the 13th edition of Amusement Expo, starting Jan 29 at Pragati Maidan, and the event is expected to boost the country's Rs.2,750 crore amusement industry.
To be hosted by Indian Association of Amusement Parks and Industries (IAAPI), the three-day expo will have participants from across 30 countries like Argentina, Canada, China, Germany, Hong Kong, Italy, Japan, Russia, Singapore, Spain, Thailand, the UAE, Britain and the US, said a statement.
IAAPI, a non-profitable organisation established in January 1999, represents the interests of a diverse range of amusement and leisure business in India.
According to a recent report of Ernst and Young commissioned by IAAPI, the amusement industry in India is worth over Rs.2,750 crore at present and is expected to reach Rs.5,400 crore by 2020.
The upcoming expo, primarily a business to business event, is expected to give a boost to the sector in the country.
IAAPI will also organise training programmes and conferences during the course of the three days.
