New Delhi, Jan 25 (IANS) With bright sunshine throughout the day, Delhi witnessed a pleasant Friday despite temperatures slightly below the normal level. Fog is likely early Saturday on the Republic Day though the day will be clear.
The maximum temperature was recorded one notch below average at 21.1 degrees Celsius, while the minimum settled two notches below average at 5.6 degrees Celsius.
Taking advantage of the sunny day after a cold morning, people were seen basking in community parks.
Saturday will also be clear and the maximum and minimum temperatures will be around 21 and 6 degrees respectively.
"There will be shallow fog on Saturday morning but the sky will remain clear," said an official of the India Meteorological Department (IMD).
