New Delhi, Jan.25 (ANI): Union Home Minister Sushil Kumar Shinde will undertake a two-day visit of Bangladesh from Monday on the invitation of his Bangladeshi counterpart Dr. Muhiuddin Khan Alamgir.
Shinde is expected to hold discussions with Alamgir, Foreign Minister Dipu Moni and also call on Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina in Dhaka.
During his visit, India and Bangladesh are also expected to sign an extradition treaty and a Revised travel agreement following bilateral discussions between the two Home Ministers.
The visit is also likely to focus on further strengthening co-operation between the two countries in the areas of security, border management, border infrastructure, training and capacity building and people-to-people exchanges. (ANI)
