Oscar not going to help my box-office record, says Samuel L. Jackson

London , Mon, 21 Jan 2013 ANI

London, January 21 (ANI): Samuel L. Jackson says he won't be disappointed if he never wins an Oscar as he thinks that success isn't just about golden statuettes.

The actor has so far received only one Academy Award nomination- for his supporting role in 1994's 'Pulp Fiction'.

The 64-year-old said he had a pretty good career in Hollywood and that winning an Oscar will not help his box-office record, the Daily Express reported.

With box-office hits such as Jurassic Park and the Star Wars prequels, Jackson is one of the highest grossing movie actors ever.

And he's received rave reviews for his latest teaming with 'Pulp Fiction' director Quentin Tarantino in hit Western 'Django Unchained'. (ANI)
