Four Delhi policemen injured

New Delhi, Jan 16 (IANS) At least four policemen were injured after two police control room (PCR) vans were hit by a mini truck of cattle thieves, police said Wednesday.

The incident occurred Tuesday midnight when police were tipped off about an animal theft at Shahabad Dairy area in north Delhi.

Ordered to stop, the driver of the mini truck rammed his vehicle into a police van and sped away. Two policemen were injured in the incident.

The truck was chased by another PCR van, which was also hit by the larger vehicle. Another two policemen were injured.

The men in the truck fled, leaving behind four cows and a bull.
