New Delhi, Jan 16 (ANI): Asha Bhosle, who was recently spotted promoting her debut movie 'Mai' along with the film's cast and crew in Mumbai, has devoted her debut movie to her mother.
The legendary playback singer, who is set to make her debut in acting, asserted that people start working at the age of 17 but she has started it at the age of 70, and it's her first movie.
The 79-year-old singer also said that now everybody should see and tell her that how they found her work.
Bhosle also asserted that she hopes that everybody will like her work, in the same way they have loved her singing.
She said the movie is a dedication to her own mother and that the reason she did it was because she used to call her mother Mai, and loved her a lot.
She further said that even today there is a hospital in Pune by her name, and it's only because of her motivation that Lata Mangeshkar, Asha Bhosle and Usha Mangeshkar reached such heights.
The movie, which is directed by debutant Mahesh Kodiyal and also stars Padmani Kolhapuri and Ram Kapoor, is all setto hit the silver screen on 1st February. (ANI)
