Mumbai, Jan.11 (ANI): Popular American rapper Snoop Dogg has said that he is excited to be undertaking a concert tour of India.
Dogg will perform in Pune and New Delhi on January 11 and 13 respectively.
Dogg said: "What's next is me having a great time on the 11 (January 11) in Pune and on the January 13 in New Delhi and do my thing because I am so ... for the people over here. People have been supporting me since 19993 and they never had a chance to see me perform unless it was somewhere else. So, not I am coming to their homeland, to the country where its beautiful and they really need to see me do what I do and I will give them the love that they have been giving me."
Dogg also said: "India is beautiful, this is all what I heard, everything I expected, beautiful scenery, the people are beautiful. I am just happy to be here, being accepted and I want to get on stage to do what I do."
He added: "I have been travelling around the whole world, this year I wanted to come to countries I have never been to before that appreciate my music and love me for what I do so, what I wanted to do was to start off the year by going to places that had never seen Snoop Dogg before."
Dogg has sold over 30 million albums and also featured in a Bollywood song from the film 'Singh is King'.
The rapper has also been nominated for 14th time for the coveted Grammy Awards.
Snoop Dogg is scheduled to release his 12th album, 'Reincarnation' in 2013. (ANI)
