London, Jan 3(ANI): Red Bull ace driver Mark Webber, who will be the oldest driver in Formula One this year, has revealed he fears quitting too early or hanging around too long in equal measure.
Webber admitted choosing the right time to retire will be tough, and the moment when decides to quit would be very difficult for him, the Sun reports.
The Australian said it is all about the getting the timing of your retirement right, and added that he doesn't want to pull the plug too early, knowing he has more to give of himself.
Though Webber won at Monaco and Silverstone last year and was in the world championship hunt until halfway through the season, he was ultimately again outperformed by team-mate Sebastian Vettel.
Webber believes he still has a lot to offer F1 but admits there is a fine line between the wisdom gained with age and the inevitable drop-off in sharpness. (ANI)
