A Delhi bound train Howrah-New Delhi Express has been looted by a group of armed criminals on Saturday early morning at Bihar's Rohtas district, local police informed.
Accoding to police, the robbers looted cash and valuables from passengers and injured four people who tried to resist them in Howrah-New Delhi Express between Gaya railway station and Sasaram, about 200 k.m. from Patna.
"Armed criminals boarded the train before Sasaram railway station and stopped the train by pulling the emergency chain at an isolated place and looted cash and valuables," said a police officer.
Angry passengers later staged a protest at the Mughalsarai railway junction and shouted slogans against the inadequate security provided in trains.
