Delhi Police have nabbed a cheater turned Film producer who was indulged in a number of forge cases. Name of accuse is Ajay Yadav alias Vikash Kumar (45). Police claimed that he is a film producer and exporter in Mumbai and his latest film "Overtime" had released on 10 August 2012.
According to Addl. Commissioner of Police, South-East District, one R.K. Wadhawa business partner of accused Ajay Yadav lodged a complaint against him of cheating and forgery for forging share certificates and thereafter selling them causing cheating of Rs. 1.40 lacs.
Police have arrested him on the above charged from Malviya nagar area.
Police sources says that Ajay Yadav originally hailed from Mathura, Uttar Pradesh. He did his B.Com. from Mathura, U.P. around 1998, he came to Delhi to start business of exporting of vegetable and fruits to middle-east Asia from his office situated at N-63 GK-I, New Delhi.
He took Sh. RK Wadhwa as his partner cum financer in the business. He started committing the crime of cheating from his own company by misappropriating the amounts through forged cheques of his partner and then kept doing this kind of crime with others also.
He absconded from Delhi in 2007 and started staying at Flat No. 2202, Silver Arch, Shastri Nagar, Lokhandwala, Andheri West Mumbai, where he posed himself as exporter as well as film producer in Mumbai.
His latest film 'Overtime' released on 10.8.2012 and as per his interrogation, production of two more films is in progress. Accused has been sent to Judicial Custody by the court.
