Parliament adjourned amid the BJP demand for PM's resignation

As it was expected, Parliament started with a stormy noisy with the CAG on the allocation of coal blocks report when opposition BJP demanded Prime Minister Manmohan singh's resignation in the issue. Amid the noisy and stormy situations, Parliament adjourned till 12 noon.

As the parliament begins its working BJP leaders started shouting slogans in both the houses. BJP members refused to allow proceedings and rushed towards the speaker's podium raising slogans. Speaker Meira Kumar adjourned the house till 12 noon.

It is noted that earlier BJP has made it clear that it will arise the issues of CAG on coal allocation in both the houses. India's official auditor had last week revealed that the lack of transparency in the allocation of coal blocks to private players resulted in a loss of a whopping Rs.1.85 lakh crore ($37 billion) to the exchequer as on March 11 last year.
