Harper Collins Publishers India on Thrusday released "The Angel's Share", a book written by Satyajit Sarna at India International Centre, New Delhi. Renowned Indian television journalist and columnist was present during the occasion to launch the book.
The book is a story based on the loss and wisdom, dark, funny and relentlessly honest about youth and ambition. The story of the book revolves around the character Zorawar Chauhan who lives two lives. In one he, he is a prosperous and privileged lawyer with a good corporate law job of which he always dream of, while the other side of his life is haunted by ghosts of a past from which he is not yet free. He enjoys his life on the in the happening campus of the National Law School, Bangalore and played football, getting stoned, getting into trouble and falling in and out of love. But above all these, he remembers the loss of his friend, the charismatic Sasha Kapur.
Graduated from the National Law School, Bangalore in 2008, Satyajit Sarna lives in Delhi and earlier his poems were published in First Proof: The Penguin Book of New Writing from India-2.
