Even when the Euro Cup 2012 has reached to completion, its craze refuses to die. And our very own B-town is not behind in jumping on to the bandwagon. In one of a kind effort Mumbai came across a first ever Football Marathon that intends to inspire the youth to take up the game of Football. The event was organized by Football Development foundation and participated by the likes of ace Indian footballer IM Vijyan and Bollywood star Arshad Warsi.
Speaking on this occasion Indian Football Icon IM Vijyan Said, "It is great afford to encourage the youth. It’s good to be a part of this marathon as it is very close to my heart". Actor Arshad Warsi seemed in agreement, “I love the game and make it a point to play with my kids and friends whenever I have time. I would like to see India playing in football world cup ".
Devshi Khandoori said, “It is nice when true fans come out and supporting football. It is a great initiative took by FDF to support football.”
On the occasion of football Marathon Murali Sharma Said, “I am a football freak and I wish India achieve big name in Football”. The event saw a huge participation from the fans and those who wanted to support the game of soccer.
This effort will be a milestone in the path of promotion of football.
