A CBI special court in Delhi Friday allowed former Commonwealth Games (CWG) Organising Committee (OC) chairman Suresh Kalmadi to visit London for joining events of London Olympics 2012 beginning from July 27.
Kalmadi is facing the charges of corruption in Common Wealth Games 2010 that resultant into losing the Chairman post of Indian Olympic Committee.
Kalmadi, who has been facing flak over his alleged involvement in graft charges on July 12 moved to a CBI special court seeking permission to attend the International Association of Athletics Federations (IAAF) Council conference in London on the sidelines of the Olympic Games.
Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) special judge Talwant Singh allowed Kalmadi to visit London from July 26 to Aug 13 when the Olympics will be held.
