Rajesh Khanna hospitalized again
Yesteryear Bollywood actor Rajesh Khanna on Saturday has been admitted to Mumbai's Lilavati hospital after deteriorating health condition. His estranged wife Dimple Kapadia, who was taking care of him, has admitted him to the hospital following his complaint of suspected stomach infection.
Confirming the news of his hospitalization, Dimple denied to give more details to media.
However, according to media sources, after taking consultation from OPD, Dimple decided to admit him.
Rajesh (69), considered as India's first Superstar as he has given 15 solo super hit movies between 1969 and 1972 including Aradhana, Haathi Mere Saathi, Anand and Amar Prem, has been keeping well from some time after falling ill in last April.
Rajesh's elder daughter Twinkle Khanna, who was married to Bollywood star Akshay Kumar has reportedly joined duos.
Earlier, in this week, his son-in-law Akshay Kumar had denied the reports of Khanna being unwell and said he was hearty and healthy.
He was recently seen appearing in his first television ad, directed by filmmaker R Balki, for Havell's fan.
Khanna married Dimple in 1973 and has two daughters from the marriage. The two split in 1984 and thereafter lived separately, but did not complete divorce proceedings.
Their elder daughter Twinkle, actor-turned-interior decorator, is married to Akshay and younger daughter Rinke, also a former actor, has wed a London-based investment banker.
